For sale today we have this stunning Art Nouveau period “Scrolling Seaweed” vase by George Tinworth for Royal Doulton Lambeth. Of tall baluster form, the vase features a very dramatic all over cobalt blue glazed, sharply incised foliate design that is further enhanced by large ornate rosettes and applied beadwork borders, set against a cream over tan “webbed” ground. Stands 28 cm tall. GT monogram to body, stamped Royal Doulton Lambeth “Lion” mark to the base along with date shield “d” (1904), Bessie Newbury as assistant.
