For sale today we have this stunning Art Nouveau period “Scrolling Seaweed” vase by George Tinworth for Royal Doulton Lambeth. Of broad baluster form, the vase features a very dramatic all over incised foliate design that is further enhanced by large ornate rosettes and applied beadwork borders. Deep treacle brown, cobalt blue and white. Stands 25 cm tall x 15 cm across. GT monogram to body, stamped Royal Doulton Lambeth “Lion” mark to the base along with date shield “d”, Bessie Newbury as assistant. In excellent condition, free from chips, cracks or repair.
