Antique Royal Doulton Lambeth Slaters Patent Art Nouveau Majolica Stoneware Vase. Today we are delighted to offer for sale a beautiful antique Royal Doulton Lambeth Slater’s stoneware vase! This classic piece, from the late 19th century/early 20th century, was made by Doulton Slater’s Lambeth. The baluster-shaped vase is crafted of stoneware and features a lustrous deep brown glaze with central band with grid texture made by impressing linen and other materials into the clay (when wet) and enhanced with glaze and enameling. The piece is stamped on the bottom accordingly. Vase is in good antique condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age. The neck has an old break that appears to have been professionally repaired and is only noticeable upon close inspection.
