An excellent example of a rare Doulton Lambeth pottery “Ginger Wine” barrel. Tap with the name of JA Cox of Old Compton St, London. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks. Signed and stamped to the base. Age / date of manufacture. Measures 9 1/2 tall. Excellent condition – 1 small chip to the rim where the plug fits. The tap has the original cork which is a little aged and would need replacing – it does sit in the barrel. Please see images above.
