Early Doulton Lambeth stonware jug by Emily J Edwards – 1874. Fine early Doulton Lambeth stonware jug by Emily J Edwards dated 1874, depicted in ovoid form decorated with stylised hand scraffito foliate images in shades of blue with applied relief button roundels and loop handle. Factory marks to the base plus Artist’s monogram and incised marks – see photographs. 8 1/4″ (21 cm) H x 4 1/2″ (11 cm) W. Very good professional restoration to the neck to report – only noticed because of slight roughness to its interior. Personal collection on request. Please contact me before the invoice is paid.
