Antique Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Slaters Patent Tri Foot Vase or Planter c1910

Fine Antiques & Collectables. An early 20th century Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase. It is of tri footed and tri handled form with a slaters patent panel to the side. The shape would lend itself to be a potpourri vase, or a small planter. The upper section is glazed in mottled blue as is the underside, and due to the glazing of the base the impressed mark is inside the body on this example. It probably dates just before WW1 and is an attractive piece. Gilt wear to the shoulders and rim, otherwise very good. Height: 12 cm (4 3/4 inch). Width: 13 cm (5 1/8 inch).
