Clearly marked to the base Doulton Lambeth Silicon, with the addition of 88, aa or BB and the letter itt or ltt or similar. The mark dates this planter somewhere between 1881 and 1891. Measures 6 1/4″ 16 cms high with the aperture at the top having a diameter of 6″ or 15 cms. Diameter at the widest point measures approximately 9 inches or 23 cm.
