This is Style Two with a handle, and the character seated on a barrel holding the jug of ale. The character is wearing a slate blue jacket, an orange waistcoat, olive green breeches with the handle cleverly formed as strands of hair. 6.75 inches tall, and is offered for sale in it original undamaged condition. MANUFACTURING DEFECTS ARE USUALLY. On this item there is nothing that I can actually see. I have been over it with a loop and it really does look in wonderful condition. The Toby Jug is fully marked on the base with the Doulton Lambeth impressed stamp and reference number X8589.
