LATE 19TH CENTURY – ROYAL DOULTON LAMBETH STONE WARE VASE. An early Royal Doulton stoneware vase from the Lambeth factory. Creamy brown “Tapestry” style background with dark blue rims and neck with floral patterns across the body. Stands 12.5 inches tall. Marked: Doulton & Slaters Patent. Doulton, Lambeth, England – PP #4198. Inscribed initials of artist: hard to make out – But I have seen this design by Elizabeth Atkins on other Doulton pieces. 12 1/2 inches tall x 4 inches wide. No chips, cracks or repairs. However, since this is such a beautiful piece, there is no escaping it. This is a lovely item to own or give as a special gift.
