A Vintage Royal Doulton Lambeth Edith Lupton Signed Stoneware Blue, Green And Brown Glazed Mosaic Oil Lamp With Brass Handles, Stem And Fittings From Hinks & Sons. The Lamp Was Issued And Dated In 1883. The Oil Lamp Is 9″ Inches Tall And 9 1/2″ Inches Handle To Handle. The Oil Lamp Is Stamped On The Bottom As Well As The Initials Of The Artist, “EDL” For Edith D. Lupton, There Are Also Other Artists Initials That Were Involved As Well. The Oil Lamp Is In Very Good Vintage Condition. There Are No Chips, Cracks Or Scratches. The Brass Has Areas Of Tarnish. Doulton Lambeth Brown Stoneware My Friend Motto Relief Molded Figural Jug C 1900
Raised ivory and brown colored motto along the top and bottom My friend is he that love me well, but who he is I cannot tell. Impressed Doulton Lambeth England mark on the base. This mark was used between 1891 and 1902. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide from spout to handle x 7 1/8 inches tall. Lambeth Doulton Stoneware Jug by EMILY J. PARTINGTON, 1880
The jug of tapering form and all-over raised blue, green and white flower heads on a brown background standing 9.5ins high. A stunning example and a wonderful addition to any serious collection Doulton Lambeth with impressed makers marks along with incised and impressed artist marks EP as shown. The jug is offered in excellent original condition without loss, damage or restoration. I have other exclusive Doulton Lambeth by harder to find artists in my shop. She is listed as being promoted to the role of a Senior Assistant in 1882. Doulton Lambeth stoneware Oil Flagon/Vinaigrette by Elizabeth Atkins 1882-1891
In very good condition’smaller than average’ (5in/13cm) ewer in traditional Doulton Lambeth style,, signed by Elizabeth Atkins. The only imperfections I can see are round the spout where there are scrapes and very tiny chips (see photos) that have been there for a very long time. And some crazing under the spout. Beautifully hand painted in blue and white on a mottled brown glaze background. It has the incised monogram of Elizabeth Atkins and the letter t This mark, adapted from a similar Lambeth mark incorporating a device of four interlocking D’s was introduced c. 1882 (not 1879 as was once thought). After 1891 the word ENGLAND was added underneath. The mark continued in use until 1902. Antique Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Inkwell. An antique Douklton Lambeth stoneware inkwell and dark blue floral lid, the ribbed body decorated with relief flower heads, circa 1900. Measures 6.5cm / 2.5″ tall with a maximum diameter of 10cm / 4″, impressed marks to base. There is what appears to be a small firing fault to the rim of the inkwell (see last photo), otherwise in excellent antique condition.
