Florence barlow doulton lambeth rare exquisite large vase excellent condition
We have for your consideration this exquisite doulton Lambeth vase by one of doulton lambeths most collectable artists Florence Elizabeth barlow, This most beautiful vase with art nouveau patterning and a depiction of a mother (old dutch capuchine pigeon) on her nest with two young chicks. This vase with blues, brown colouring with a art nouveau foliage pattern with a nest of pigeons on a cream background is in excellent condition with NO chips, cracks or restoration standing 31cm high with a flared rim. Florence barlow as become highly collectable and this vase would make a firm investment full doulton Lambeth impressed mark to base with Florence barlow initials. Florence was born in c1856 and joined doulton lambeth in 1873 where she stayed for 36 yrs till c1909, this vase is an early vase dating to around c1890s. Florence worked along side her sister Hannah barlow and sometimes worked on the same pottery. Doulton Lambeth Twin Handled Vase Decorated with Horses by Hannah Barlow
For sale today we have this absolutely gorgeous Royal Doulton Lambeth twin handled vase by senior artist Hannah B Barlow. Of double gourd form and decorated with 2 artistically realised central sgrafitto panels, 1 with a horse and foal and the other with a solitary horse. Both panels are set within beadwork borders that are surrounded by incised flowers and leaves. A cabinet or shelf display size at 6 tall. Marked to the base with a Royal Doulton Lion mark along with Hannah’s HBB monogram. Displays beautifully while one handle has been professionally restored so as to be invisible-otherwise excellent. A Superb Fulham Pottery Stoneware Jug and Beaker Set. Monogrammed and Dated 1902
For sale today we have this wonderful Lemonade Jug and Beaker from the Fulham Pottery. Well decorated with with lots of swirling green foliates against a fawn ground. Contained within beadwork borders are roundels of flowers, while at the front is a monogram “FJB”. Dated to the front 1902.. The jug is 19 cm tall while the beaker is 11.5 cm. Marked to the base with a Fulham Pottery mark, along with an artists cypher. Overall in good condition, being free from any chips, cracks or repair. Minor loss to the raised beadwork.
