PAIR DOULTON LAMBETH MINIATURE MATCH HOLDERS, CHRISTINE ABBOTT c. Height 5cm, Diameter 4,75cm. Doulton Lambeth by Christine Abbott with artist and makers marks. A fine pair Doulton Lambeth art pottery stoneware match holders or possibly miniature vases of barrel shape and applied in relief with small flower heads around the upper rim of the vessel. One is painted in brown stone glazes while the other is decorated in green both with painted orange petal flowers with gilded centres. Both have impressed makers and incised artist marks.
