ANTIQUE ROYAL DOULTON LAMBETH TEA POT TRIO STERLING SILVER MOUNT c. 1892
We are offering this lovely Antique DOULTON LAMBETH TEA SERVICE. This three pieces tea service is salt glazed stoneware, with silver mounts, Birmingham 1892, and decorated with flowers, impressed marks. TEA POT: 15cms high MILK JUG : 7 cms high SUGAR BOWL: 7.5 cms high. In Excellent condition for its age (129 years old). Free from chips, hairline or cracks. No signs of damage or restoration. The silver mounts seems in good condition for its age and usage, there is a very tiny ding in the sugar bowl rim and a mark in the silver. PLEASE LOOK THE PHOTOS CLOSELY TO SEE THE FLAWS AND DETAILS MENTIONED, AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Royal Doulton Lambeth Unusual Pair Of Vases Medieval Style Drinking Scenes
Lovely pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth Vases with unusual decoration; applied’spade’ shape designs in the Medieval style with scenes of Musicians and eating/drinking. The Vases measure 8.5 high. Both Vases are in very good condition withh no damage or repairs. They are fully marked Royal Doulton on the base as shown. One has the potter’s mark of Florrie Jones, the other Emma C Harrison, and both have a painted decorator’s mark which seems to be AL. UK buyers can also pay by Cheque or Postal order. Once I know you’ve got it and are happy, I will leave feedback. LOVELY EARLY DOULTON LAMBETH ARTWARE WHISKEY FLASK for JAMES BURROUGH Ltd. This is a lovely stoneware scotch whiskey / liqueur flask produced at the Doulton Lambeth factory in, I would guess, the first few years of the 1900’s (see the model number). It is depicted in a large conical flask form with loop handle and stylised Celtic / Art Nouveau applied foliate slip sprigged designs around the base circumference over a nice mottled honey brown glaze. E, distillers of the choicest liqueurs since 1820′ – for all see photographs and details. It measures 7 1/4″ (18.5cm) h x 5″ (13cm) w (across the base) approx; and is in excellent condition with no defect at all to report. This is a lovely period Doulton whiskey / liqueur flask that’s in great condition and with a low start price should get considerable of interest from all collectors. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS SALE. Almost everything I sell is in the condition I have bought it, unless otherwise stated, (I have learnt to my cost in the past not to tamper with an item), and therefore I have neither had items repaired nor restored. DESCRIPTION Antique Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware pitcher dating to the early part of the 20th century. Dating to 1905 this typical two tone style along with applied engraving characters (appliqué) was made to celebrate the dominions of the British Empire and Commonwealth. This ceramic pitcher is a a stunning example of Royal Doultons fine work. These decorative figures are typical English characters ranging from the game and hounds, drinking squires and windmills. This particular piece was made by the Doulton artist Olive Dale and is signed on the bottom. Marked on the rim: makers mark lion passant (sterling) leopards head (London) k (1905) Marked on the base: Royal Doulton England 4281 d (Olive Dale) A great example of British pottery at the height of the British Victorian empire. This antique pitcher would make a great addition to any antique kitchen, Victoriana collectible or as a decorative item for a rustic home decor. Bulbus cylindrical form with a straight neck & rounded rim, impressed natural leaf decorated, hand painted in autumnal colours. Incised Doulton Lambeth mark, England, pattern number 1009. Salt-glazed naturally produces a stippled effect on the finished colour, you will notice light surface scratching and factory faults normal with age and use. Large Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Art pottery Jug Dated 1879 by Elizabeth Fisher. Very large well modeled Doulton Jug dated 1879 by what I take to be the known artist Elizabeth Fisher. It has a metal top that was silver plated but this has worn through to a nice copper colour. Standing approx 24cm its a great size. Signs of age, some small firing faults near the handle joins but no chips, no restoration. Pretty good example and very bright. Please use the pictures to decide if this is the item for you.
