Royal Doulton Lambeth Art Nouveau Vase c. 1905
An antique Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase decorated in Art Nouveau style. Impressed and incised marks to the base – c. Striking Royal Doulton Lambeth Vase – Art Nouveau Design – Georgina Pearson – c. A quite superb Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase decorated in the Art Nouveau style. The vase which stands on a small rounded foot has four panels each with slightly recessed floral decoration to the centre. There is further floral decoration between the panels set against a blue ground. Although not marked as such the piece is very much in the style of Francis Pope both in shape and decoration, it is certainly a high quality piece. To the base is the Doulton Lambeth impressed lion and crown mark and the incised initials GP – possibly for the artist Georgina Pearson. A lovely and stylish example for the discerning collector. 26cm high, maximum diameter 12cm – 6cm at the base. In good original condition – mentioned for accuracy is a small manufacturing flaw to the rim which is entirely underglaze. All items will be well packed and securely boxed. Extremely Rare Doulton Lambeth Novelty Owl Oil Lamp c1880 Excellent Condition
I was told the metal brass? Lamp part was original and it certainly fits perfectly, with a new cloth wick, I was also told the glass shade part was original, fits perfectly and of the period with slight imperfections in the glass. It is in Excellent condition with NO chips or cracks or restoration or other damage of any kind, cant even see any crazing. The glass lamp does have a line near on base but you cannot feel this from the outside so probably just a tiny imperfection. It is such a cute little piece at roughly 22cms in overall height, roughly 12cms in length and the owl measures roughly 7cms in height and marked with impressed marks to the base as shown. This is an absolute must for any collection and displays really really well. A Super Doulton Lambeth Teapot Frog Finial & Ornamental Carp- George Tinworth
For sale today we have this Super Doulton Lambeth Bachelor’s Teapot by George Tinworth. A stunning design, the teapot itself features a wraparound relief design of ornamental Carp Koi? Swimming up and down in amongst air bubbles. The lid is topped off with a superbly modelled (by George Tinworth) whimsical frog figure, with a most mischievous smile! Marked to the base with a Royal Doulton Lambeth mark, model number 2535 and assistants mark. This teapot is a known George Tinworth design that is sometimes (but not always) signed. Teapot is in excellent condition, being free from any damage or repair. The lid has been broken and repaired with a traditional staple repair. The George Tinworth frog is undamaged. An Exquisite Doulton Lambeth Floral Art Nouveau Vase by Eliza Simmance. C1900
For sale today we have this Elegant Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase by Senior Artist Eliza Simmance. Of slender baluster form, the vase features a dramatic design of large flowers and stlylised foliage in a flowing band all around the vase. The centres of the flowers are pushed in to give a 3 dimensional effect and the whole design is set against a mottled green ground with contrasting bluey green top rim. Fully marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth “cog” mark, dates to circa 1900. Incised “ES” 713 for Simmance along with assistants as shown. 23 cm tall x 10 cm dia. Doulton Lambeth Aesthetic Movement Jar c1881 signed Florence Barlow
Up for sale is a Doulton Lambeth Aesthetic Movement Jar. Âte-sur-pâte depicting seven Swallows birds in foliage set in a incised blue banner with circular motif and beading. It was executed by the highly acclaimed Florence Barlow whose works are much sought after. She joined the Doulton factory in c1873 and is accredited for her work in Pâte-sur-pâte paintings of wildlife, predominantly birds. This piece also bear the monogram for the senior assistant Charlotte Lamb who joined Doulton in c1879 to c1883. Perfect condition free from cracks, chips crazing and restoration. However unfortunately missing the silver rim. Measuring approx 13.5cm tall. Please review photos for completeness.
