This charming sculpted, conical form vase features a pigment brush painted design of Persian inspired stylised foliate forms that repeat around the entirety of the vase. Stands 14 cm tall. A Super Doulton Lambeth Sterling Silver Rim Jug -Hannah Barlow, Horses & Sheep
For sale today we have this absolutely stunning Doulton Lambeth sterling silver rimmed pitcher by senior artist Hannah B Barlow. Of conical form and very well decorated with a central sgrafitto panel of grazing horses and sheep, set in a hilly moorland background. The panel is set between foliate borders, formal stiff leaves to the base and softer leaves to the collar with applied lozenges and delicate rosettes. Finished off nicely with a fully hallmarked sterling silver collar. Stands a good 24 cm tall x 12 cm dia (excluding handle). Marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth mark along with Hannah’s HBB 71 monogram and CER 324. In super condition being free from any damage or repair- a really nice example! An early Doulton Lambeth Art Pottery jug with a mounted silver rim by Frank Butler – this is a very early example of his work. Early Doulton Lambeth impressed mark to the base as well as the early incised mark for Frank Butler. Early Doulton Lambeth Art Pottery Jug – Frank Butler – c. A very early Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug typically decorated with an incised leaf design and glazed in blues and browns. This is an early piece by Frank Butler and is typical of the early Doulton Lambeth art pottery. To the base is the early Doulton Lambeth impressed mark and the early incised mark for Frank Butler and this is a fine example of his early work. 18.5cm high, 11cm wide – maximum, 7cm at the base. In good antique condition without chips, cracks, or restoration – there are some minor and expected manufacturing flaws. All items will be well packed and securely boxed. For sale today we have this Excellent example of an Early Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase by Senior Artist George Tinworth. Coloured with greens, blues, and browns, with plenty of beadwork and applied rosettes to further highlight this wonderful vase. Fully marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth mark along with the date 1874. Incised “GT” to the body as expected. Stands 10 ” tall x 5 1/4 ” dia. A striking vase that is presented for sale in tip-top condition, being free from any chips, cracks or repairs. There is a kiln fault to the inner neck as shown. Beautiful pair of Royal Doulton Lily Partington Art Nouveau Vases
A beautiful pair of Royal Doulton Lily Partington Art Nouveau vases circa 1920s. Matching pair both marked with the number 8085. The glaze is a love green/blue. There are no chips, cracks or markings to the glaze. The pair are in excellent condition. The vases are blue in green in colour with varying shades and have a lovely sheen to the glaze. Any adverse marking is due to camera glare. If you wish to see any further photographs please let me know. The vases both measure 22 cm in height. Both in excellent condition. Worked at Royal Doulton in the 1920s and 1930s. At some stage she was promoted to being a senior Assistant. In view of her dates, she may well have been a daughter of the more eminent Emily Partington.
