A MAGNIFICENT Hannah Barlow Doulton Lambeth huge vase. Quite a rare subject, as I think it is a hunting scene. It took me ages to find her signature amongst the incised decorations. See photo of a small deer and it is just below that. I also think the collectors will know this type of decoration by Hannah Barlow anyway. The panel is a nicer shade of brown than my photos show, and see photos 1 and 3 for nearer the colour. It is a full 16 ins high by 9 ins across, and weighs about 5kgs alone without full packing. Fully incised to the underside with her helpers and Doulton Lambeth and dated 1879. Naturally, on such a huge piece, there are typical firing cracks to underside of base. That is NOT DAMAGE.
