A Rare Doulton Lambeth Geese in Flight Blue Ground Vase by Hannah Barlow. 1877
For sale today we have this Rare Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase by Senior Artist Hannah B Barlow. , set on an unusual blue ground the vase features 3 slightly different depictions of geese taking flight in amongst tall rushes and grasses. A simple geometric design to the collar finishes the vase off nicely. Stands 19 cm tall x 10.5 cm in Diameter. Bears a Doulton Lambeth “cog” stamp along with the date 1877. Incised HBB for Barlow and FC for Fanny Clark. A delightful vase presented to the market in very good condition. There are some minor nibbles to the base rim to be considered- aside from that this vase is unblemished. His piece would make a wonderful addition to any serious Doulton collection.
