A Super Doulton Lambeth Sterling Silver Rim Jug -Hannah Barlow, Horses & Sheep

For sale today we have this absolutely stunning Doulton Lambeth sterling silver rimmed pitcher by senior artist Hannah B Barlow. Of conical form and very well decorated with a central sgrafitto panel of grazing horses and sheep, set in a hilly moorland background. The panel is set between foliate borders, formal stiff leaves to the base and softer leaves to the collar with applied lozenges and delicate rosettes. Finished off nicely with a fully hallmarked sterling silver collar. Stands a good 24 cm tall x 12 cm dia (excluding handle). Marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth mark along with Hannah’s HBB 71 monogram and CER 324. In super condition being free from any damage or repair- a really nice example!
