A Wonderful 15 3/4 Doulton Lambeth Vase Decorated with Horses Hannah Barlow

For sale today we have this Large and Impressive Doulton Lambeth vase by senior artist Hannah B Barlow. Of tall baluster form and with a superbly executed sgrafitto central panel of horses grazing against a tree lined background. Of special note is that the horses being glazed white really draws the eye to them and allows Hannah’s definition of their musculature to stand out. The borders by Florence Roberts are tubelined with stylised foliate forms with further bands of flowers. An impressive display size at 15 3/4 tall. Marked to the base with a Doulton cog mark along with HBB 48, FER and assistant as shown. In superb condition being free from any chips, cracks or repairs, guaranteed.
