An Impressive Doulton Lambeth Sterling Silver Lidded Ewer by George Tinworth

For sale today we have this stunning Late Victorian “Scrolling Seaweed” ewer by George Tinworth for Doulton Lambeth. The jug features Tinworth’s signature “Scrolling Seaweed” design to the body that is further enhanced by various sized ornate rosettes and applied beadwork borders. The collar and foot have stiff leaf borders with a softer more fern-like border to the shoulder. The jug is finished off superbly with an ornate, fully hallmarked, sterling silver collar and lid. Stands 12″ tall x 4 1/2″ across. GT monogram to body, stamped Doulton Lambeth “oval” mark to the base along with date 1876. Presented for sale in excellent condition, free from chips, cracks or repair. The hallmarks are nice and crisp as shown. Any questions, please ask?
