A fantastic antique Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase decorated with a spiralling Dragon and flowering Prunus. To the base is the Doulton Lambeth impressed rosette mark along with incised artist marks for Harry Barnard, Francis Pope, and Mary Ann Thompson – there is an impressed date mark for 1883. A superb antique Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase encircled with a spiralling dragon and flowering Prunus delivered in high relief. To the base is the Doulton Lambeth impressed rosette mark as well as the incised marks for senior artists Harry Barnard, Francis Pope, and Mary Ann Thompson. Also present is an impressed date mark for 1883. 27cm high, 14cm at widest point, 7cm at the base, unpacked weight 1.2kg. In good condition with a restored area to the foot and some minor chips and frits to the spine of the dragon – photos nine and ten. A very rare piece by three major artists.
