Doulton Lambeth Slaters Patent Tobacco Jar Humidor. This really is a lovely jar with more subdued slaters markings on a deep turquoise background with the raised flower motifs on top and bottom. Lid is well-seated and fits snugly. Doulton Lambeth impressed mark 1880 – 1891. Artists signature BN – Bessie Newbury. Assistant marks: Impressed’mOO’ for Ada Morgan,’j’, and. Written’G’ (potentially Edith Green). The lid has different markings. Painted’EW’ and 710. 4.25″ high and 5″ with lid. Condition: There may be a hairline crack seen on the base.
