Doulton Lambeth Ewer pitcher frog vase pottery fluted edge 9684 Vtg England
Unique and rare decor pottery. Great condition, may have variations in the pottery and/or painting but nothing I noticed. Fluted narrow top and has handle. Brown with blue and green pattern, lily pads and frogs. Please view all photos and ask any questions. Length is apx 8.5 tall. Bottom is stamped with the following. Doulton Lambeth England 9684. Initials look like b7P also something else stamped that I cannot read. A Very Stylish English Royal Doulton Lambeth English Moulded Salt-Glaze Stoneware Pottery Ewer of compact proportions. Bulbous form with wavy flared rim and single scroll handle. Lavish Art Nouveau raised tube-line decoration in relief of multiple leaves and frogs (unusual decoration for a Doulton piece) within a cobalt blue ground, the main body colour is dark brown mottled ground. Back and front views are similar. First quarter of the Twentieth Century.
