A fine Doulton Lambeth small vase by John Broad c. Superb Doulton Lambeth Vase – Intricate Stylised Foliate Design – John Broad – c. An fine and early Doulton Lambeth, art pottery, stoneware vase of slender form with carved, incised and applied decoration. The main body of the vase is decorated with a stylised foliate design set between two rows of applied beads. To the base of the vase is the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark and an incised artist mark for John Broad and assistant artist Sarah Fisher as well as the impressed date – 1879. 16cm high, maximum diameter 6cm – 4.5cm at the base.
