A fine and pair of Doulton Lambeth stoneware silver topped, (hallmarked for London 1876), Pounce Pots decorated with an incised, beaded, geometric, foliate design. Impressed early Doulton Lambeth factory mark to the base as well as the incised marks for Louise Tomkins, Sara Fisher, and a further unrecorded artist – dating to c. Scarce Pair Doulton Lambeth Silver Topped Pounce Pots – Stylised Foliate Geometric Design – c. A fine pair of Doulton Lambeth silver topped stoneware Art Pottery Pounce Pots with an incised and beaded geometric foliate design. To the base of both is the early impressed Doulton Lambeth Rosette Mark – also present are incised artist marks for Louise Tomkins, Sara Fisher, and an unrecorded artist – the silver tops are easily removed from the matched silver collars and are engraved with a Crested Lion Rampant & Staff – the tops are hallmarked for London 1876. 12cm High, Diameter 6cm (maximum) – 4.2cm at the foot.
