A fine and large Doulton Lambeth lemonade jug with a scrolling seaweed design and a monogrammed silver rim hallmarked for Hukin & Heath Birmingham 1877. The jug has an impressed Doulton Lambeth mark to the base and the impressed date – 1877 – the jug is also dated to the body. The GT mark for Tinworth is to the front of the jug and there is an incised assistant artist mark to the base for Harriet E. To the base is an impressed Doulton Lambeth factory mark and an assistant artist mark for Harriet E. Hibbut – also present is an impressed date mark for 1877, the jug is also dated to the main body. The George Tinworth GT mark is present to the front of the jug. Jug: 26cm high, maximum diameter 16cm including handle – 13cm at the base, unpacked weight 1.4kg. In good condition without chips, cracks, or restoration – a fine example. All items will be well packed and securely boxed.
