LOVELY EARLY DOULTON LAMBETH ARTWARE WHISKEY FLASK for JAMES BURROUGH Ltd
LOVELY EARLY DOULTON LAMBETH ARTWARE WHISKEY FLASK for JAMES BURROUGH Ltd. This is a lovely stoneware scotch whiskey / liqueur flask produced at the Doulton Lambeth factory in, I would guess, the first few years of the 1900’s (see the model number). It is depicted in a large conical flask form with loop handle and stylised Celtic / Art Nouveau applied foliate slip sprigged designs around the base circumference over a nice mottled honey brown glaze. E, distillers of the choicest liqueurs since 1820′ – for all see photographs and details. It measures 7 1/4″ (18.5cm) h x 5″ (13cm) w (across the base) approx; and is in excellent condition with no defect at all to report. This is a lovely period Doulton whiskey / liqueur flask that’s in great condition and with a low start price should get considerable of interest from all collectors. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS SALE.
