LOVELY ROYAL DOULTON HAND PAINTED’NEW STYLE’ VASE. This is a wonderful Royal Doulton stoneware vase made at the Lambeth works dating from, I would guess, the first decade of the 20th. Century to the early 1920’s. In a tapering form it is depicted with a hand painted image of a colourful, stylised Autumnal Forest landscape. The base has the above mentioned impressed Doulton Lambeth mark and Honey’s (decorator) hand inscribed monograms and other marks – see detailed photographs. It measures 9 1/2″ (23.5cm) H x 5 1/8″ (13cm) W approx; and is in very good condition with no defect to report – again see photographs and details. This is a lovely, rare piece of period Royal Doulton (Lambeth) ceramics that’s in great condition and with a low start price should attract a good deal of attention from all collectors. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS SALE.
