RARE LARGE 8572 Doulton LAMBETH STONEWARE Toby Jug by Harry SIMEON. Large 8572 Smiling Man Toby by Harry Simeon; V1. Stoneware; Olive green, blue and brown colorway. Artist: Harry Simeon Issued: c. Harry joined Doultons Lambeth studio in 1896. He designed an extensive series of tobies, tobacco jars, ash pots, inkwells and candlesticks. The stoneware toby jugs made at the Lambeth factory were also modeled by Harry Simeon. His inventiveness showed at its most brilliance in the range of Toby wares he began in 1924. This Rare 8572 Harry Simeon Toby Jug is in very good used vintage condition. There is an old chip on the side of the base that is glazed over (see photos). Pair of Antique Cobalt Blue Floral Decorated Royal Doulton Vases 8249
For sale is this lovely Pair of Antique Royal Doulton Stonware Vases numbered 8249 circa 1902 – 1922. The Vases measure 10.5 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide across the top opening (rim to rim) with the bases measuring 3.25inches wide across the centre. Both vases are in a cobalt blue colour decorated with raised floral decoration in a light blue colour. Both vases are in lovely condition with no nicks, chips or cracks and no restoration visible apart from a slight chip to one of the rims as indicated in the photos. Both vases are marked to the undersides Royal Doulton England in a circle and surmounted with a lion, 8249 and the initials MW. A Superb Doulton Lambeth Scrolling Seaweed Beaker with Silver Rim. 1877
For sale today we have this superb Doulton Lambeth lemonade beaker. Well decorated with a vibrant version of the “scrolling seaweed” design, highlighted with beadwork borders and applied rosettes of varying sizes. Glazed green against a cobalt blue ground. This example is finished off with a fully hallmarked sterling silver collar with the following inscription- H. Heath, 2nd in quarter mile hurdle race 1879. What a wonderful prize for coming second! Marked to the base as shown. The beaker is very much in the George Tinworth style but lacking a GT monogram to the body. Everything else though is correct for it to be him, from his favoured assistant for these pieces to the design and colouration. A really nice example. A Superb Fulham Pottery Stoneware Jug and Beaker Set. Monogrammed and Dated 1902
For sale today we have this wonderful Lemonade Jug and Beaker from the Fulham Pottery. Well decorated with with lots of swirling green foliates against a fawn ground. Contained within beadwork borders are roundels of flowers, while at the front is a monogram “FJB”. Dated to the front 1902.. The jug is 19 cm tall while the beaker is 11.5 cm. Marked to the base with a Fulham Pottery mark, along with an artists cypher. Overall in good condition, being free from any chips, cracks or repair. Minor loss to the raised beadwork. A Large & Impressive Doulton Lambeth Arts & Crafts Vase by Louisa Edwards
For sale today we have this Large and Impressive Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase by Senior Artist ELouisa Edwards. Of tall baluster form, the vase is decorated in high Victorian style with foliate forms, rosettes, Fleur De Lys and stiff leaves all within heavily beaded borders. Fully marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth cog mark (1890’s). Incised conjoined “LE” 341 for Edwards. 13 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ dia. A stunning and beautiful vase presented to the market in outstanding condition, being free from damage or repair. There is an indent to the foot rim from manufacture to be noted (see pics). A very large pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth vases by Louisa Wakely. A gorgeous pair of vases tapering from the base upwards. Raised decoration of flower heads , trailing leaves and bead work. The body of the vase having a lovely mottled glaze in blue , grey and greens. Both marked as photo and the scratched marks LW for Louisa Wakely who was a senior assistant at Doulton Lambeth. Dating between 1902 / 1905. Size :- They measure 32.5 cm / 12 3/4 inches in height and 13 cm / 5 1/8 inches across the base. Condition :- In good antique condition.
