Royal Doulton Lambeth George Tinworth Tall Vase Scrolling Decoration 1879
Doulton Lambeth Art Pottery tall vase with scrolling decoration and applied roundels, by artist George Tinworth. The Vase measures 12.25 high. The flared top rim of the Vase has been broken and reglued, please see photos – neatly done, and no pieces missing. No further damage or repairs. The Vase has George Tinworth’s incised mark on the side, impressed Doulton Lambeth mark on the base with date 1879 and further potters/decorator’s mark of Florence Dennis. Once I know you’ve got it and are happy, I will leave feedback. PLEASE NOTE that my Items are mostly Vintage and Second Hand, and whilst I try to be as accurate as possible in my Condition descriptions, Vintage items by nature will show some signs of age, perfection cannot be expected. Antique Doulton Lambeth George Tinworth Mouse Tobacco Jar 7 inches tall
A Good Doulton Lambeth Tinworth Mouse Tobacco Jar. A good example of the Doulton Tinworth mouse tobacco jar. It is academically accepted that these mice were modelled by George Tinworth although he never signed the pieces to the effect. Early backstamp, circa 1880. Impressed artist marks to lid and body. Measures just over 7 inches high with the lid attached. Condition: I cannot see any damage or restoration to the mouse. The jar body is perfect and the lid has two really tiny frits to the outer edge which look, to me, to be underglaze. The lid is original to the body. Overall an excellent example. Royal Doulton Lambeth Vases Maud Bowden Art Nouveau Design Very Nice
A large pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth vases by Maud Bowden. A gorgeous pair of baluster shaped vases. Raised decoration of four stylized flower heads , in blue , beige and green , on swirling leafed stems. The body of the vase having a lovely mottled glaze in black , blue and grey. Both marked as photo and the scratched marks MB for Maud Bowden who was a senior assistant at Doulton Lambeth. Dating between 1902 / 1920. Size :- They measure 32.5 cm / 12 3/4 inches in height and 13 cm / 5 1/8 inches across the base. Condition :- In good condition. Please study photos to help gauge condition. A Rare Doulton Lambeth Geese in Flight Blue Ground Vase by Hannah Barlow. 1877
For sale today we have this Rare Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase by Senior Artist Hannah B Barlow. , set on an unusual blue ground the vase features 3 slightly different depictions of geese taking flight in amongst tall rushes and grasses. A simple geometric design to the collar finishes the vase off nicely. Stands 19 cm tall x 10.5 cm in Diameter. Bears a Doulton Lambeth “cog” stamp along with the date 1877. Incised HBB for Barlow and FC for Fanny Clark. A delightful vase presented to the market in very good condition. There are some minor nibbles to the base rim to be considered- aside from that this vase is unblemished. His piece would make a wonderful addition to any serious Doulton collection. Rare Early Doulton lambeth Stoneware Pitcher By Hannah Barlow Circa 1869-1872
This wonderful example of very early Doulton Lambeth has been beautifully decorated using the sgraffito technique. This extensive decoration was executed by the renowned senior artist Hannah Barlow. The continual band of decoration shows a stag and two deer running through the landscape with birds in flight. The neck of the pitcher is also decorated with a continual band of leaves. Striations to both base and handle. This stunning stoneware pitcher is in immaculate condition as illustrated by the listing photographs. With no repair or restoration. 13cm at widest point including handle. The pitcher will be well packed to ensure safe transportation.
