HARRY SIMEON FOR DOULTON LAMBETH – STONEWARE TOBY XX BEAKER – X8591. Offered for sale is this charming Harry Simeon for. Doulton Lambeth Toby XX Beaker, made of salt glaze coloured stoneware. The character is wearing a slate blue jacket, a green waistcoat and green breeches. 5.5 inches tall, and is offered for sale in very good condition with no chips or cracks. For complete accuracy there is some crazing to the inside rim of the hat (see photo). The beaker is fully marked on the base with the Doulton Lambeth impressed stamp and reference number X8591. HARRY SIMEON FOR DOULTON LAMBETH – STONEWARE XX TOBY JUG (ORANGE) – X8589. Offered for sale is this charming Harry Simeon for. Doulton Lambeth XX Toby Jug, made of salt glaze coloured stoneware. This is Style Two with a handle, and the character seated on a barrel holding the jug of ale. The character is wearing a slate blue jacket, an orange waistcoat, olive green breeches with the handle cleverly formed as strands of hair. 6.75 inches tall, and is offered for sale in it original undamaged condition. MANUFACTURING DEFECTS ARE USUALLY. On this item there is nothing that I can actually see. I have been over it with a loop and it really does look in wonderful condition. The Toby Jug is fully marked on the base with the Doulton Lambeth impressed stamp and reference number X8589. Smaller 1 Pint Sanitary Fountain Victorian Doulton Lambeth Bird Feeder 1890s
A lovely example of the much Smaller, 1 pint sized Victorian Doulton Lambeth Sanitary Fountain. Stoneware Bird Feeder, waterer. This is the smallest size I have ever owned and the only one of this size Ive seen. Im sure there are plenty more out there but definitely a lot rarer than the more usual 1 quart size. These feeders, in the larger size, seem to come with two different colour tops, either lighter tan or darker brown. This little one has a lighter tan top. In fantastic order with no issues to report, aside from some light wear age related. Stands in at approx 7 inches to the top of the finial and measures 3 7/8 inches across the base. Has a P stamped in the front of the shoulder to denote the fact that it is the 1 pint size. Good clean transfers and overall a stunning little example. A Very Rare Doulton Lambeth Silver Rim Jug Fox & Hound Decoration-Hannah Barlow
For sale today we have this absolutely stunning Doulton Lambeth sterling silver rimmed pitcher by senior artist Hannah B Barlow. Of swollen form and very well decorated with a large sgrafitto dog to the front (under wheeling birds), while to the rear, skulking in the tall grass and bushes is a sly old Fox lifting his nose to the sky. An utterly charming scene! Finished off very nicely with a fully hallmarked sterling silver decorative collar. Stands 9″ tall x 6″ across (including handle). Marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth oval mark along with Hannah’s HBB monogram. Dates to the early 1870’s. A Monumental Doulton Lambeth Vase Decorated with Horses by Hannah Barlow. 16
For sale today we have this Large and Impressive Royal Doulton Lambeth for the Art Union of London vase by senior artist Hannah B Barlow. Of tall baluster form and with a stunningly realised central sgrafitto panel that depicts a number of horses in various poses set in a tree lined meadow setting. The borders are fairly simple swirls against a mottled blue ground meaning all of the focus is on Ms Barlow’s fine handiwork! An impressive display size at 16 tall. Marked to the base with a Royal Doulton Lion mark along with assistant mark for Joan Honey. The base of the vase looks like it has been rubbed before being fired as the Art Union of London mark is smudged and hardly discernible and Hannah’s monogram is not visible. The vase will be supplied with a letter from Alexander Clement, curator of the Royal Doulton museum confirming all provenance of the vase, artist, date of manufacture etc. In superb condition being free from any chips, cracks or repairs, guaranteed.
