Royal Doulton Lambeth Slater Doulton Patent Vases pale blue 4590 Circa 1900
A stunning pair of display flower vases dating from the early 1900’s with the patent applied Slaters floral and leaf decoration in white, gold and pale blue and green with the Slaters Model Number 4590 and made in England from the late 19th Century as shown from the impressed marks on the bottom. The vases have a spreading lip followed by a slender neck and baluster body and are decorated in a wonderful arrangement of white and pale blue flowers. Of classical shape each vase surface has been impressed with lace while the clay was still wet before being overpainted with coloured glazes. The vases measure 28 cm in height x 13 cm in diameter at the widest point. The neck of the vase measures 5 cm. Please remember that the items offered are vintage or antique. By nature, they most likely have some signs of wear commensurate with age. A very early Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug typically decorated with an incised leaf design and glazed in blues and browns. This is an early piece by Frank Butler and is typical of the early Doulton Lambeth art pottery. To the base is the early Doulton Lambeth impressed mark and the early incised mark for Frank Butler and this is a fine example of his early work. 18.5cm high, 11cm wide – maximum, 7cm at the base. Antique Doulton Lambeth Silicon Stoneware Water Filter Urn 13.5 Tall
Antique Doulton Lambeth Silicon Stoneware Water Filter Urn. Antique Royal Doulton Silicon ware water filter/purifier, decorated with stylised designs in pastel colours on a un-glazed matt background. It is in three separate parts which are all impressed stamped Doulton Silicon Lambeth. Overall 13″tall and 6.5″across at widest point not including tap. The base has a diameter of 6 across. It would have been used daily in a Victorian/Edwardian kitchen. Fully marked for Doulton Lambeth with impressed marks to the base and further impressed marks to the underside of the lid. I n overall very good condition with a very small frite to the underside of the lid. Though the spigot/tap end has had a small repair as shown. Some minor surface wear scratches etc… All nothing major, but noted. Will display superbly in any period, contemporary setting. Weighs 3.519 kilos unwrapped. Any questions please message.
