A Striking Royal Doulton Lambeth Art Nouveau Vase by Frank Butler. Circa 1900
For sale today we have this Absolutely Stunning Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase by Senior Artist Frank Butler. Of baluster form, the vase features a 4 times repeated tubelined design of stylised foliate forms with a beadwork border. Coloured to a golden treacle brown, cobalt blue, mottled green and with contrasting white tubelines. Fully marked to the base with a Royal Doulton Lambeth “Lion” mark. Incised “FAB” 498 for Butler along with assistants as shown. Date shield “e” for 1904. Measures 19 cm tall x 9 cm dia. A truly delightful vase presented to the market displaying beautifully, while it has had a small chip to the base rim restored- otherwise perfect. For sale today we have this Excellent example of an Early Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Vase by Senior Artist George Tinworth. Coloured with greens, blues, and browns, with plenty of beadwork and applied rosettes to further highlight this wonderful vase. Fully marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth mark along with the date 1874. Incised “GT” to the body as expected. Stands 10 ” tall x 5 1/4 ” dia. A striking vase that is presented for sale in tip-top condition, being free from any chips, cracks or repairs. There is a kiln fault to the inner neck as shown. An Outstanding Early Doulton Lambeth Pitcher by Frank Butler. Dated 1874
For sale today we have this Outstanding Example of an Early Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Pitcher by Senior Artist Frank Butler. This profusely decorated jug has an all over design of scrolling foliate forms below a foliate border to the shoulder and stiff leaves to the collar, while the handle features a more geometric design. The jug is heavily decorated with beadwork borders, and applied rosettes of varying sizes and form giving it a fabulously textured finish. For early Doulton Lambeth this jug really is as good as it gets. Fully marked to the base with a Doulton Lambeth “Oval” mark with the date 1874. Incised “FAB”for Butler. A good size at 9 1/2 ” tall x 4 1/2″ dia. A truly beautiful pitcher presented to the market in outstanding condition, being free from any damage or repair. Doulton Lambeth Vase George Tinworth Incised And Moulded Decoration Rare
Gorgeous Doulton Lambeth vase by the renowned artist George Tinworth. A globular shaped vase incised and moulded with a swirling pattern and applied flower heads on strings of fantastic white beading. Having a flared neck , lotus pattern on the shoulder and glazed in blues , brown , ochre and green. Marked as photo on the vase body with the monogram GT for George Tinworth , and underneath the scratched letters BN for the assistant Bessie Newberry and the number 4004. The mark dating around circa 1900. A fantastic looking and rare antique vase by one of Doulton Lambeth’s top artists.
