Emily Stormer Doulton Beaded Vase c1900 Very Attractive

A truly delightful Doulton Lambeth vase by the highly collectable potter, Emily Stormer. Emily Stormer worked for Doultons from about 1877 to 1895. The quality of her work can be assessed by the fact that for a long time, her output was attributed to Eliza Simmance. Her work shows the influence of both Arthur Barlow and Frank Butler. The vase is also initialled AB, possibly for Barlow. Small glaze blemish to the edge of the foot rim, probably occured at firing. A very attractive beeded piece with all beads in tact. Width: 7.5 cm.
