Very Rare Antique Novelty Doulton Lambeth And Silver Suffragette Inkwell 1909
A very rare Doulton Lambeth suffragette inkwell. Modelled by Arthur’Leslie’ Harradine. Probably made to coincide with the founding of the Woman’s National Anti-Suffrage League in the same year. The body is sterling silver and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1909, the maker is slightly obscured but its probably Grey & Co of London. Measures 3.5 inches/9cm tall. This piece is in fine condition with no damage or restoration, clean and bright, very minor signs of age to the silver as you might expect with the passage of time.
