Antique Doulton Lambeth plaques by George Tinworth – RARE. Lovely examples of his famous seaweed pattern. Glazes of blues, browns and cream. Both signed to front with GT monograms. Reverse impressed; Doulton Lambeth 1875. Please see photos for condition. I cant see any chips, cracks or losses. In overall good condition but there are some marks commensurate with age. I cant see any chips or losses but please see the photographs to ascertain your own opinion of condition. A real collectors item. Ive never seen a Tinworth plaque of this nature, let alone a pair, and Ive bought privately, and at auctions, markets and fairs for my own collection for 40years. Theyve been on my Liberty sideboard for about 25years. Sadly its time they found someone else to love them.
