Pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth Slater Doulton Patent Vases 2072 Circa 1900’s
A stunning pair of display flower vases dating from the early 1900’s with the patent applied Slaters floral and leaf decoration in white, gold and blue and green with the Slaters Model Number 4590 and made in England from the late 19th Century as shown from the impressed marks on the bottom. The vases have a spreading lip followed by a slender neck and baluster body and are decorated in a wonderful arrangement of white and pale blue flowers. Of classical shape each vase surface has been impressed with lace while the clay was still wet before being overpainted with coloured glazes. The vases measure 28 cm in height x 9 cm in diameter at the widest point. The neck of the vase measures 5 cm. Please remember that the items offered are vintage or antique. By nature, they most likely have some signs of wear commensurate with age.
