A Rare Doulton Sauce Boat By Mark V Marshall. A rarely offered sauce boat designed and constructed by Mark V Marshall for Doulton Lambeth. Inspired by a hog type beast with applied decorative foliage-like fur. MVM monogram to underbelly as well as early Doulton backstamp. Measures approx 9 inches high to the tail end. Condition: Overall excellent cosmetic condition with some expected professional restoration to the upper frills and the tail has been professionally reattached. The feet and face are free from damage or repair.
