Royal Doulton Stone Wear Toby Jug. Design by Harry Simeon, circa 1925. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Collectors will know that this type of stone wear will often have shrinkage cracks or flaws in the glaze, but the only thing I can see is two small lines near the base, looks like the maker has put his/her fingernail in the clay during manufacture (see last picture next to the reflection). Will be double boxed for protection.
