For sale today we have this absolutely stunning jug by George Tinworth for Doulton Lambeth. The ovoid form jug features a superb example of Tinworth’s signature “Scrolling Seaweed” design. Sharply incised foliate forms are highlighted with an abundance of beadwork borders and applied rosettes of varying sizes and forms. Coloured to a rich palette of greens, browns and blues. Stands a touch over 10 tall. Stamped with a Doulton Lambeth oval mark along with the date 1875, incised GT monogram to the body. In super condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
