As shown there are signs of repair along four different points of the handle, therefore it should go without saying that this jug is not to be used (at least not by lifting from the handle). The handle does feel sturdy and is repaired well, my pictures make it appear far worse than it is intentionally so as to highlight the repair work. There is also a 5mm long surface chip to the spout and some damage around the base as can be seen in the last pictures.
