Antique Doulton Lambeth Natural Foliage Vases Partington Wood Autumn Leaves

Rare to the market, a large pair of Natural Foliage Vases made by Doulton Lambeth. They offer deep, rich colours and character. Size – 40cm in height. Condition – Overall good with no signs of any damage. The vases were made by the renowned Doulton artists of Emily Wood and Emily Partington. Both worked at Doulton Lambeth in the 1890s, which means they were created in this period. Real autumn leaves were pressed into the clay to create the most realistic effect. After the firing, the outlines were then hand-painted. This meant no two vases of this style were the same. Please ask if you have any questions.
