Composed Pair Antique Doulton Lambeth Stoneware & Brass Candlesticks c1900

Fine Antiques & Jewellery. A pair of very late 19th century candlesticks by Doulton Lambeth. They combine stoneware and brass elements with the ceramic parts glazed in largely mottled blue and green tones traditional for Doulton of this period. They have slightly different marks to the bases so they are a composed pair. There are minor differences between them with slightly different colours in places and dots on one and flourishes on the other. One also has an extra ring of flourishes around the base. Both very good for period. Some blips in the glaze from production. A composed pair rather than an original pairing. Height: 21 cm (8 1/4 inch). Width: 12 cm (4 3/4 inch) across base.
