Fine Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware Ewer – Floral Design – Eliza Simmance – c. A fine antique Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware ewer with an incised floral design to the main body the outline highlighted with gilding – there is further highlighted decoration to the neck shoulders and handle. To the base of the vase is the impressed Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware mark and the incised mark for the artist Eliza Simmance. One of the best examples of these wares that we have seen. 1cm high (maximum to top of handle), diameter 12cm – 8cm at the base. In good antique condition without chips, cracks, or restoration – for complete accuracy there is a pinhead size flaw to the inside top of the handle that appears to be from manufacture.
