[EL35] A fine example of a large Doulton Lambeth saltglazed stoneware puzzle jug with the verse. “From Mother earth I claim my birth/ I’m made a joke for man/ But now I’m here filled with good cheer/ Come taste me if you can”. Impressed and incised marks, c1900. 9/22.5cm tall, approx. It is in excellent condition, just a couple of tiny flakes to the lettering noted.
