Fine Large Doulton Lambeth Tyg – Hunting & Drinking Scenes – 19th Century. An exceptionally large Doulton Lambeth salt glazed three handled Tyg. To the body and in relief are hunting and drinking scenes and the piece is typically decorated in two tone brown. To the base is the impressed Doulton Lambeth mark. The tyg comes in good condition – there has been a minor bruise to the rim resulting in a small loss to the glaze and an associated tight crack that runs along the rim for appprox 1cm (see picture 5). The handles are in good antique condition A fine and unusually large piece – the moulded scenes are very sharp and detailed and this is a fine example for the collector of these wares.
