LOVELY DOULTON LAMBETH TUBELINED DUTCH VASE by LESLIE HARRADINE

LOVELY DOULTON LAMBETH TUBELINED DUTCH VASE. This is a wonderful Leslie Harradine designed stoneware vase made at the Lambeth works in, I would guess, the first decade of the 20th. In a bellied quatro-form it is depicted with a hand painted and tube-lined image of a colourful Dutch landscape with boy and girl. The base has the above mentioned impressed Doulton Lambeth mark and Harradine’s and Ethel Beard’s (decorator) hand inscribed monograms and other marks – see detailed photographs. It measures 5 1/8 (13cm) h x? (7.5cm) w approx; and is in very good condition with a coloured over small chip to the base rim corner to report there are no other chips, cracks, or restoration – again see photographs and details. This is a lovely, rare piece of period Doulton Lambeth ceramics that’s in great condition and with a low start price should attract a good deal of attention from all collectors. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS SALE.
