DOULTON LAMBETH ART POTTERY VASE BY FRANK BUTLER 1882. Height 29cm, Diameter 11cm. Designed by Frank Butler for Doulton Lambeth. An exceptional and elegantly shaped Doutlon Lambeth art pottery stoneware vase of tall bulbous shape standing on a narrow rounded pedestal foot and with a trumpet shaped top by renowned artist Frank Butler. The vase is decorated with sylised incised floral designs set within shaped panels with raised central flower heads decorated in blue, brown and green on a textured brown ground with cross hatch patterns above and below and with similar designs applied to the neck. The vase has impressed Doulton Lambeth marks to the base along with a monogram FAB for Frank Butler along with numerous other assistant artist marks. The vase is also dated 1882. The vase is offered in excellent condition. We cannot and will not declare items below the sale value.
