A fine pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth silver mounted Art Nouveau stoneware vases decorated with a repeating stylised Wheat Ear design. Impressed Royal Doulton factory mark to the base of both along with the incised and impressed artist marks – dating to c. A fine pair of Royal Doulton Lambeth Art Nouveau Silver Mounted stoneware vases decorated to the body with a repeating stylised wheat ear design delivered in slight relief against a mottled Green ground. To the base of both is the impressed Royal Doulton Lambeth Lion & Crown mark as well as impressed and incised artist marks. The silver mounts are hallmarked for Joseph Ridge (John Round & Son Ltd) with the date letter for 1910. Each: 20cm High, Diameter 8.5cm (maximum). In good condition with a small loss to the glaze to the underside of the foot of one – not apparent when the vase is on display. An attractive and stylish pair of vases.
