A lovely pair of Doulton Lambeth candlesticks shaped and decorated in the Art Nouveau style. The sticks have a rounded and raised foot that supports a slender and stylish stem that narrows before broadening again at the candle cup holder. Stylized, tube-lined, foliate decoration, set against a mottled green ground, encircles both the foot and the underside of the candle cup. To the base of both is the impressed Royal Doulton Lambeth mark as well as an incised artist mark. A superb and very stylish pair for the discerning collector.
